Organizing Co-Director, Food & Water Watch / Food & Water Action Fund
Mark Schlosberg is Food & Water Watch and Food & Water Action Fund’s National Organizing Director, and is responsible for developing strategies for Food & Water Watch’s national campaigns and supervising a team of organizers working out of offices in 14 states and DC. At Food & Water Watch since 2008, Mark helped lead the development of Food & Water Watch’s organizing strategy on fracking – which has centered around an uncompromising call for a ban on fracking and related activities — and initiated the formation of Americans Against Fracking and Food & Water Watch’s work to develop state based coalitions. Mark has a J.D. from New York University and a B.A. in Economics from University of California at Berkeley.
